Stephanie Semenuk, a recent graduate from CMU’s DIGITAL EFFECTS ARTIST PROGRAM: CREATURE AND CHARACTER DESIGN program, is featured as a Notable Young Professional. Stephanie graduated from the Complete Makeup Artist Program in 2012 and went on to have a very successful career as a makeup artist – most recently working on Brad Pitt’s new film, War Machine. Looking to expand her skill set, Stephanie completed the Creature & Character Design program where she became fluent in both practical and digital effects. When asked where she sees herself in the next few years, she said, “Working in digital. I will always have my hand in practical makeup and prosthetics but we are in an exciting time for digital design. I want to be at the forefront of this and develop my craft even further.”
