CMU COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan
Current & Future students
Per the Ontario Government’s announcement earlier this year, CMU has been delivering its programs to students through a blended learning platform since March 30, 2020.
Ontario has recently unveiled a plan to reopen postsecondary education through a phased approach. Ontario’s postsecondary institutions, including publicly assisted colleges and universities, private career colleges, and other institutions may reopen their campuses during the summer for priority in-person education and training on a pilot basis. This pilot is intended to support academically stranded students who, as a result of COVID-19 emergency response measures, were unable to complete their programs and graduate. Institutions may not, under this pilot, provide in-person instruction for programs that can otherwise be provided virtually.
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of students, faculty and staff, CMU will implement appropriate COVID-19 protection and response measures. All institutions participating in the pilot must operate in compliance with provincial emergency measures in place and advice, recommendations or instructions from public health officials.
CMU programs will continue to be offered through a blended learning platform consisting of both virtual learning and in-class instruction. The in-person components of each program will be scheduled in accordance with Ontario Government and local public health official guidelines. Students will be contacted directly via email as soon as we have more information about when in-person classes can resume.
Private College Tours
To minimize risk to our staff, students, faculty, and the greater community, CMU is currently not accepting any private tour requests.
Graduation Ceremonies
We regret to inform that graduation ceremonies must be postponed until further notice. We will contact all students as soon and post on this page as soon as we have an update.
