It was an exciting day at CMU! Linda Preston, Head of Makeup for the historical fantasy television series, Reign, paid us a visit today. Linda, accompanied by CMU graduate Ashley Rocha, who has been an assisting makeup artist on the show, hosted an industry seminar for our current Film & Television students. The hour was spent discussing topics such as working in the film industry and advancing as an artist. CMU grad Ashley Rocha is the youngest MUA on the set of Reign and has traveled to Ireland to film with the show. She will be moving forward on the next season of Reign as a first assistant makeup artist.
