CMU offers a one-of-a-kind Digital Makeup and Special Effects Artist program at our beautiful downtown Toronto campus.
Over the span of four months, this intensive program lays the foundation for your future career as a digital or SFX makeup artist. You learn all the foundational skills for digital and practical creature design, including ZBrush and Adobe Photoshop.
Advanced Makeup Classes
- Life Drawing
CMU’s life drawing course introduces students to the principles and techniques needed to draw the human form. It covers drawing fundamentals, including human anatomy, terminology, gesture drawing, and composition. You learn how to draw different elements of the body, such as musculature, fine details, and proportions of the human figure.
- Figurative Sculpting
This introductory course to figurative sculpting teaches the principles and skills needed for developing three-dimensional artworks.
