CMU TORONTO Creature Design Certificate Program
The Creature Design Certificate Program teaches students how to fully design and create original character concepts. The SFX makeup training includes special effects sculpting, an essential skill for working within special effects makeup labs for film, television, or theatrical productions. This course is designed for the purposes of professional development.
What you'll learn
As Toronto’s leading Special Effects Makeup Design School, CMU is proud to offer The Creature Design Program, teaching students how to design, sculpt, and mould an original character. The skills introduced in the creature design course are an important part of working on practical effects for cinematic productions.
This SFX makeup design course is ideal for highly creative artists who are interested in working in special effects makeup labs. Students who complete this course will be equipped to build projects for a film or television production, animation studio, museum installation, or theatrical production.
