This scholarship is available to BIPOC Canadian students. Through providing scholarship funding to students from communities that are underrepresented in the Canadian entertainment industry, we aim to build crews that represent the diversity of the Canadian population.
CMU College of Makeup Art & Design, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Access Canada , is proud to announce the launch of the Avenues for Access Scholarship. With $100,000 earmarked for scholarship funding annually, our goal is to provide aspiring Canadian makeup artists from BIPOC communities with pathways into the film and television industry.
We believe that education is a critical lever to change the societal structures that perpetuate racial inequities. The Avenues for Access scholarship program is a key factor in CMU’s commitment to improving diversity within its walls as well as the Canadian film and television industry. For information about eligibility requirements and how to apply, see below.
Limited scholarships available. Scholarship funds up to $10,000 per student. Only those selected to receive a scholarship will be contacted.
